The National Law Enforcement Officer Hall of Fame was founded in 2017 to spotlight officers who embody the best in service, valor, courage and duty. Nominations are received from across the country and reviewed by a distinguished panel of judges who each year select the law enforcement professionals who will be honored at the organization's annual induction ceremony. Prominent public figures such as Gary Sinise, Sheriff Mark Lamb and others have demonstrated personal support for the organization and its mission and numerous corporate entities participate in sponsoring the induction ceremony. In 2019, well recognized law enforcement training provider Calibre Press partnered with the organization's co-founders Megan Stockburger and Adam Davenport to help carry the organization to a national platform. Since then, nominations and attendance at the annual induction ceremony have compounded exponentially year over year.
